On any given day
you might find us at a Tacoma Rainier’s game, clearing brush a t a local park or jumping out of planes! We think it is important to step outside of our daily work patterns and allow ourselves to participate in the community where we work and live. The fun and laugher we share are as important as the hard work
we do together.
Our latest community project took us into the woods to help the Puget Creek Restorative Society on the Day of Caring. This event, put on through United Way and Metro Parks of Tacoma, took place at five sites in Tacoma where groups and individuals gathered together to beautify the natural areas of our city. Our staff got out and helped with several projects in the 66-acre Puget Creek Park, including creating salmon havens and placing brush to define trails. The Day of Caring was a great success and we look forward to participating in next year's event!
