Julie Mountford
Certified Public Accountant
Julie joined the accounting profession in the year 2000 and has been in public accounting since 2002. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from
Western
Baptist
College
with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2004, Julie earned her public accounting certification. She performs a variety of services including, but not limited to, audits, reviews, and compilations. Her specialties include individual and business multi-state taxation, and also small business accounting assistance through QuickBooks. In addition, she performs a large volume of work for the construction/contractor industry. Julie is currently attending the Masters in Taxation program at Golden Gate University.
Jennifer McQuilkin

Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from
Pacific
Lutheran
University
in 2005 with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She has been with the firm since fall of that same year. She obtained her CPA license in December 2008. Jennifer has experience with taxes, audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping and payroll services through QuickBooks. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge base and growing in the profession.
Chad Bañales
Certified Public Accountant
Chad is a graduate of the University
of
Washington where he earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting. In December 2009 Chad was awarded his CPA License. During his time at DBR he has specialized in employee benefit plan audits, while working on a number of other audits, reviews, and compilations. He has also gained experience preparing corporate, individual, estate and not for profit tax returns. Chad looks forward to learning more from his mentors in the upcoming years and hopes to supervise audits in the near future.
Cheryl Coates
Certified Public Accountant
Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Washington in June 2008. While attending school she served as the vice-president of the Association of Student Accountants at UW Tacoma, as well as a voting member of the Services & Activities Fee Committee. She works closely with our construction/contractor clients providing review and tax assistance. Cheryl also specializes in small business accounting, non-profit audit and tax. Cheryl earned her CPA license in 2009. In her spare time, Cheryl volunteers for the WSCPA teaching Financial Literacy and as the Secretary of Tacoma Sunrise Rotary. Cheryl is an asset to our firm.
Kerri Marcordes
Staff Accountant
Kerri graduated Cum Laude from
Western
New Mexico
University
in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She went on to complete her post-baccalaureate studies in accounting at the
University
of
Washington
and
Central
Washington
University
. Kerri joined our firm in 2008 and intends to obtain her CPA license in fall 2010. Her professional focus at DBR is on bookkeeping, tax, audit, and review services.
JEFF WEBB
Staff Accountant/IT Admininstrator
Jeff joined the DBR team as an Intern in February 2010. Jeff became a great addition to the team and was hired on as a full time Staff Accountant in May. Jeff comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a Minor in Business Administration from Western Washington University. Jeff plans to complete the CompTIA A+ Technician Certification Exam in 2011 and obtain his CPA license in 2012.
